What is a prosthodontist?
A prosthodontist is a dentist who has completed a master’s degree (MDS) in prosthodontics, the specialty of restoring and replacing teeth.
That covers crowns, bridges, dentures, dental implants and full-mouth rehabilitation. It also covers how your teeth look and how your bite works, which is why prosthodontists often plan smile makeovers.
Dr. Rima is also an implantologist: she places dental implants as well as the teeth that sit on them.
